TIGER & XIAO HUANG SHI live in Kuala Lumpur & Penang (Malaysia)

Hailed as the “Queen of Pubs” in Taiwan, veteran songstress Tiger Huang (黄小琥), teamed up with renowned blind singer-songwriter Xiao Huang-Chi (萧煌奇), is set to fill you with emotion bringing on stage two sizzling live performances slated to take place this August 27th at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands and September 10th at Penang Pisa Indoor Stadium.

This finely-crafted live music concert themed as thewill be a perfect vocal collaboration between the two and the concert is expected to blow fans away with many heartfelt rendition of songs from their albums.

Acclaimed one of the top live entertainers in Taiwan, Tiger’s deep voice and soulful style is unique, and over the years has attracted many fans. She first hit the international music charts in the early 1990′s, with her release of album titled ‘More Than Friends’ which became a big hit all over Asia. She later won outstanding music awards as the Best New Idol and the Best Recording in Taiwan. Between 1993 and 1994 Tiger Huang released three English albums ‘The Rose’, ‘Over the Rainbow’ and ‘All By Myself’ which garnered her many new fans in Taiwan and also in the overseas market.

Her song “Not that simple” which is composed by Xiao, defeated alls and won the Best Top 10 KTV songs 2010. Tiger’s popularity soared and she achieved 5 sell-out concerts in Taiwan in 2008. She fetched numerous awards later on, including the Best Female Artiste Award. This year, Tiger Huang is back with her latest Mandarin album One More Time, One More Chance which also hit the street with a big bang.

Xiao Huang-Chi was born blind due to congenital cataracts but he never viewed his eyesight as a handicap and he started explore life and express himself through music.

Xiao started out his music career with his first personal album entitled “You are My Eyes in 2002 and was nominated the “Best Composer” in the Golden Melody Award. He became better known after winning the Best Tai-pop male artist 2008 award in the Golden Melody Award.

When you listen to his music, you will be shaken by his powerful voice. When you see him in concert, you will be moved by his sincerity.

Xiao has released 5 albums namely “You are my Eyes”, “Black Guitar”, “Our Story”, “True Love” and “I am Ricky Xiao”. His song “Last Train” released in his new 2011 album has also become a top Karaoke hit.
